It's Thursday, after two days with Europe's top competition (the Uefa CL) it's time for the Uefa Europa League with also the four quarter final matches - 2nd legs. If you don't know wich match to watch then tune in for the Simulcast to catch all the action. Ace stops downloading data after some time. That's with 500Mbit/s net.
First of all, it really gets on my nerves that Ace stream is playing tricks on me with this connection:

I don't have any issues running 2 HD instances of sopcast which takes 20Mbit/s up/down combined, yet with Ace, it plays fine for some 20 minutes, then all of a sudden speed gradually drops to 0.
When I try to restart the stream, it buffers, but then just plays cached fragment from HDD, and not the actual stream, when the cache ends, it just stops once more and the circus continues in this loop. If I somehow manage to restart it, it happens again, sometimes buffering kicks in playing on my nerves as well :D no matter
What's going on? I would think the router is the culprit, but everything is forwarded properly, upnp enabled, and when it works, it works OK, upload speeds alone above 20Mbit/s are not unusual for it, but then all of a sudden it stops...

FC Sevilla v FC Porto [Europa League Quater-Final 2nd Leg]
Sevilla defender Nicolas Pareja has backed his side to win against Porto on Thursday night and progress to the semi-finals of the Europa League.
The Spanish outfit went down 1-0 in the first leg last week, Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala scoring the only goal of the game at the Dragao stadium.
That put the Portuguese giants in pole position to make it into the last four, but Pareja said he and his team-mates were taking heart from their 4-1 home triumph over Espanyol at the weekend.
"It was important for us to return to winning ways after our defeat at FC Porto," the Argentinian centre-back told the club's website.
"We proved against Espanyol that we have the players and the determination to turn things around.
"The tie is wide open. FC Porto are unbeaten in this competition and we respect them. However, we will go all out to win and progress to the next round."
Sunday's victory allowed Sevilla, who are fifth in the Primera Division, to climb three points clear of nearest rivals Real Sociedad.
Sevilla - UEFA Cup winners in 2006 and 2007 - have lost just one game at home in European competition this season - a 2-0 defeat to city rivals Real Betis in the previous round.
Sevilla coach Unai Emery will be hoping to recover defender Daniel Carrico, who is doubtful with a muscular injury.Porto warmed up for the encounter at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium with a 3-1 win over Academica de Coimbra on Sunday.
The outcome lifted the Dragons to third place, 15 points adrift of league leaders Benfica.
Porto coach Luis Castro will be forced to make changes to his starting line-up with midfielder Fernando and striker Jackson Martinez suspended for the game in Andalusia.
Despite that setback, Porto are confident they can reach the last four."
Jackson and Fernando are two crucial players for us," Porto defender Mangala said.
"But we have a very strong group and I know we are going to make up for their absence."

Hey, I have a problem with SopCast, t.i. I bought a new computer and now when I try to launch a stream through SopCast it opens the program but doesn't go any further than Logging In...
Really hoping someone can help me out here !

Why can't disable HD any more?
I like to watch sports on Veetle, but before there was option to disable HD, now I can't find it any more. Is there any way to change that? With HD I have problems in streaming, without is everything good...

i had acestream working perfecrtly on xp but now ive installed windows 7 i cant get it to work the stream freezes. ive installed all version of windows 7 but have the same results. can anyone shed any light?

Acestream problems - READ THIS FIRST!!
If you are having a problem with Acestream, and you need help, then there are two things to remember:
1. Most problems have been raised, and solved. The information is spread through the section, in lots of different threads. Try the sticky threads - most things are in there. Try using the Search function if you have a particular error message.
2. If you need to post with your problem, it saves a lot of time if you post enough information. Make sure to include at least the following information:
- What version of Acestream you installed, and where you got it
- What version of VLC you have installed (if any)
- What your internet connection is (see below!)
- Your country and ISP
- Your PC spec, including processor and memory
- Your operating system (e.g. Windows 7, Windows XP, etc)
For your internet connection, you need to post both your upstream speed, and your downstream speed. This is not based on your internet package with your ISP, please do a speed test at http://www.speedtest.net/ and post the results. Just because your ISP says you have up to 24Mbps doesn't mean that's what you get. ;)
If anyone wants to post confirmed solutions to problems then please add to this thread and I'll organise the second post into an index linking to the relevant post. :)
