Team News

Potential replacements in defence include Bryan Oviedo, John Stones, midfielder Gareth Barry or even centre-back Sylvain Distin.
Midfielder Darron Gibson and striker Arouna Koné are out long term while central defender Antolín Alcaraz is edging closer to involvement in the squad having been sidelined by injury since arriving in the summer.
Stoke, meanwhile, have beend dealt a blow with the news that both defender Robert Huth and forward Marko Arnautovic are missing.
Manager Mark Hughes says Huth is set to be out for "a number of weeks" due to a knee injury, with it looking likely the centre-back will undergo surgery, while Arnautovic is sidelined having sustained a hamstring strain.
Defender Marc Wilson, midfielder Stephen Ireland and striker Kenwyne Jones are all expected to be available again after sitting out last Saturday's 2-0 home win over Sunderland.
Match Notes
After the frenzy of the Merseyside derby, Everton could do with getting back to winning ways having registered three draws in succession, especially with away games at Arsenal and Manchester United to follow after this fixture with Stoke.
The visitors here have won only once on their travels so far this season but arrive on Merseyside buoyed by a significant home victory over fellow strugglers Sunderland last weekend.
Stat of the game: Evertons Kevin Mirallas has been substituted 10 times this season, more than any other player in Premier League.
