So is our tight-knit community that has been growing bigger and closer over the years despite our very different team loyalties
And college football tradition wants that this thread feature the ten biggest, most enticing or most even matchups of each week and let users pick their outcome
As always:
Please try to be with us from Week 1 AND send in your picks every week
(However, ten extra games will be provided if users miss a week (or four))
Only Saturday games are eligible - otherwise someone might post his picks on Friday and find out that the Thursday night game was in the selection
All picks for a week need to be in before Saturday noon EST
The system is pretty easy:
You pick a winner for each of the listed games - and you get one point for every game you picked correctly
If several users end up with the same number of points by the season`s end, we break the tie by asking for points scored in a particular game
There will be a separate Pick'em thread for the Bowl Season
If you aren't sure about some game, here are the odds by professional sports betting services

However, if you are sure, you will surely find out quite a few times that you weren't right after all (see Michigan vs. Appalachian State)
