Suddenly, everything I type into my address bar automatically brings up a link to a site I have never googled before! As soon as I type the first letter, a url appears! Different one for every letter I start with.
They all seem to be links to genuine sites, except they don't have the usual Comodo secure connection symbol - just "verified official site. sponsored", added to the end of the url.
I delete the url and then type in the correct url I want to my address bar and everything is ok....
This is obviously adware/malware, but none of my anti virus progs can't detect it!
Tried Malwarebytes, SuperAnti Spyware, Advanced System Care and they detected nothing!
Even Ccleaner couldn't find it in the list of installed files!
My Avast AVP doesn't find any probs either on a scan.
It isn't creating pop ups or anything, but it is annoying the fuk out of me when I type in my address bar!
Looked on google but every answer was to download a removal programme offered, sometimes a pay removal tool(!). Like I'd trust that over Malwarebytes??? NO!
I'm about to scan with all my resources again in safe mode....just wondering if anyone had any other ideas first? Thanks
