Quote:

QPR travel to Everton on Monday having lost every single away game that they have played this season. The Toffees are also in need of a win, having not tasted victory in three matches.

Several players could be returning from injury for Roberto Martinez’s side. John Stones, Steven Naismith, James McCarthy, and Darron Gibson could all possibly be back in time for the match. However, Christian Atsu has been ruled out with the hamstring problem that he picked up against Krasnodar in mid-week, and Gareth Barry is suspended after receiving too many yellow cards.

Although they tend to play poorly after Europa League matches, this may not affect the Blues this time as up to eleven changes are expected to be made to the starting XI from their game on Thursday.

Meanwhile Queens Park Rangers will be hoping that Steven Caulker is able to make the match after injuring his head at the club Christmas party. Alejandro Faurlin, Sandro, and Adel Taarabt continue out of the side, while top scorer Charlie Austin is suspended for the match. He will be a big miss, as the rest of the team have been finding it hard to hit the back of the net. They will be trying to get their first points away from home this season without the forward.
