Team news:

Hull expect to welcome Allan McGregor, Michael Dawson and Nikica Jelavic back for Sunday's clash with Tottenham.
The trio have all been missing in recent weeks but have trained fully during the international break and look set to start.
Captain Curtis Davies has been struggling with a back problem but is hoping to prove his fitness on Saturday, while Alex Bruce is available following a hamstring injury.

Spurs will be without defender Kyle Naughton through suspension while head coach Mauricio Pochettino will check on the fitness of several players who were away on international duty, such as striker Emmanuel Adebayor, before deciding on his travelling party.
Kyle Walker continues to miss out following abdominal surgery, while Nabil Bentaleb is absent due to an ankle complaint.

Match notes:

Steve Bruce does not normally criticise his players in public so it was a sign of just how angry he was after Hull’s defeat to Burnley before the international break that he delivered a public dressing down to his “big time Charlies.” Standards have slipped and Bruce knows it.
Getting things back on track will be easier said and done.

Tottenham have generally found it easier to play away from home this season and there is a view Mauricio Pochettino finds it easier to organise a team when he can play on the counter-attack.

Stats:

Hull have won none of the last five Premier League games against Tottenham (W0 D2 L3).

Hull have now failed to score in their last three Premier League games this season, after scoring in each of their opening eight

Only Hull have conceded more goals (5) in the opening 15 minutes this season than Tottenham (4)

Possible starting 11:
