Preview:
Tottenham travel to the Eithad to face Manchester City in Saturday's early kick-off, hoping to avoid a repeat of their previous heavy defeats to Manuel Pellegrinis side.
Second placed City have scored 11 goals against Spurs in their last two meetings and will be aiming for back-to-back victories following their 2-0 away win against Aston Villa, as they look to keep up the pace with league leaders Chelsea.
Spurs, who got back to winning ways with their 1-0 over Southampton, will hope to fair better against City this time out under new manager Mauricio Pochettino..
Match Notes:
Tottenhams bright start to life under Mauricio Pochettino has suddenly become overcast, with a run of just two victories in eight games in all competitions, so Saturday's trip to the Etihad is either the worst possible fixture or the best, depending on the optimism levels of the average Spurs supporter.
A 6-0 hammering at City last November exposed the frailties which hastened the departure of Andre Villas-Boas, but are the same problems beginning to resurface under Pochettino?
Team News:
Eliaquim Mangala is set to miss Manchester City's home match against Tottenham with a thigh injury.

All the other City players are fit apart from Samir Nasri, who is still recovering from groin surgery.
Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will be given every opportunity to prove his fitness ahead of the trip to City after being forced out of France duty with a thigh injury.
Belgium midfielder Nacer Chadli will also be given a chance to prove his fitness, while striker Emmanuel Adebayor and Nabil Bentaleb will be assessed on their returns from international duty on Friday.
Defenders Kyle Naughton and Kyle Walker remain out.
