Whether you like us as a football team or not, I've always believed the chairman, Peter Coates, and management structure in place at Stoke are one of the few in top flight football that really care about the fans. None of these American tossers who confuse your name with the Manchester Wolves or think your main aim is to win the superbowl.
Since being promoted, Stoke City have not increased their ticket prices once. I can say that from experience, so we're still one of the cheapest in the Premiership having been set at our Championship prices. While other teams prepare to bend supporters over and give them a good ****ing, by increasing their prices to £62 a ticket, Stoke City maintain a forward thinking view by cutting off VAT + more, if season tickets are bought early by fans.
Now:
We're the first team in the Premiership to offer free away travel for our fans. I can't wait to go to some away games now. It's always been the reason I didn't go, because I couldn't afford the travelling expenses on top of everything else.
