Celtic FC vs. NK Maribor 
Celtic full-back Adam Matthews returns to the squad after a calf injury for Tuesday's home leg in the Champions League play-off with NK Maribor. With the tie poised at 1-1, the Scottish champions have no new injury concerns after resting several players for Saturday's 1-0 loss at Inverness. Midfielders Scott Brown and James Forrest remain sidelined. But Matthews could feature after pulling up in the warm-up for the win over Dundee United on 16 August.
Manager Ronny Deila made 10 changes to his starting line-up at the weekend, with stand-in captain Charlie Mulgrew the only man retained. With few fringe players impressing in the Highlands, Deila is likely to field a similar side to the one that managed a draw in Slovenia last Wednesday. Last season's top scorer Kris Commons was an unused substitute in Maribor but played the full 90 minutes on Saturday.
Legia Warsaw thrashed Celtic 6-1 on aggregate in previous qualifying round but the Scottish champions were reinstated when it was discovered the Poles had fielded a suspended player.
A convincing weekend win has made Maribor more confident they can qualify for the Champions League group stage despite a first leg draw with Celtic. A 3-0 defeat of Zavrc last Saturday lifted Maribor to second spot in their domestic league, with Mendy having scored his first goal of the season to add to earlier strikes from Damjan Bohar and Luka Zahovic.
