So guys this is my first tutorial!
First of all, you want to open up Ace Player HD got to View → Advanced Controls
You may now notice there is a red record button, a camera, an a →b button and a film roll button.
Once this appears go to Tools →Preferences →Inputs & Codecs, Go down to Files and click browse which in line with the record directoy or filename box , slect the folder in whioch you would like your captured clips to be saved.
To test, click the red record button, let it record for around 30 seconds, click the red record button again, locatre where you selected for the videos to be saved, the file should be named something along the lines of vlc-record-(Year)-(Month)-(day)-(Hour)(Minute)(Seconds)-(Name/Channel being streamed)
The files are compressed dramatically without a massive reduction in quality and are in .ts format which video editing programs such as Premiere pro etc understand!
Hope This helps!
