Acestream problems - READ THIS FIRST!!

If you are having a problem with Acestream, and you need help, then there are two things to remember:

1. Most problems have been raised, and solved. The information is spread through the section, in lots of different threads. Try the sticky threads - most things are in there. Try using the Search function if you have a particular error message.

2. If you need to post with your problem, it saves a lot of time if you post enough information. Make sure to include at least the following information:

- What version of Acestream you installed, and where you got it
- What version of VLC you have installed (if any)
- What your internet connection is (see below!)
- Your country and ISP
- Your PC spec, including processor and memory
- Your operating system (e.g. Windows 7, Windows XP, etc)

For your internet connection, you need to post both your upstream speed, and your downstream speed. This is not based on your internet package with your ISP, please do a speed test at http://www.speedtest.net/ and post the results. Just because your ISP says you have up to 24Mbps doesn't mean that's what you get. ;)
