Watching Acestream within a Chrome browser tab?

Hi Guys,

I have downloaded the latest Acestream client and can successfully open up a link within the VLC application.

However i am trying to get the stream to view in a chrome tab - the purpose being i can then use my "Google Cast" button to send to the Chromecast device i have.

Is someone able to help me with this please - or alternatively is there a simpler way to reach the same end goal of casting to my TV using a mobile device / android app ..
