Chelsea will look to secure their spot in the Champions League quarter-finals as they face Galatasaray in the second leg of their last-16 clash. The two clubs played out a 1-1 draw in Istanbul last month, leaving 2012 winners Chelsea as favourites to progress. Chelsea have a good record at this stage, and their last defeat in the last eight years was ironically to Jose Mourinho - who beat them with Inter Milan in 2010. But now back in charge of Chelsea, Mourinho is looking to safely book his place in the last eight as he seeks to make history and become the first ever coach to win Europe's top prize with three different teams.

Galatasaray have less experience of being at this stage, indeed they have only made it this far once before - but that was last year against Schalke, which they did win.

Chelsea and Galatasaray have met just once in the Champions League before, which was back in 1999 in the group stages, when it was the English side who came out on top winning both home and away.

The match does mark the return of Roberto Mancini to English football, following his departure from Manchester City last summer. Mancini, though, does not have history on his side with Gala as they have never won in England. From their eight visits to the country, they have drawn three times and lost on five occasions - although they come into the match in good form with just one loss in their 23 games.

Chelsea do have impressive home form to call on - having not lost a European knockout game at home since 2011 - but they are getting over the shock defeat at Aston Villa from the weekend, which ended a run of 14 league games without defeat.
